Team Gallions

At Gallions Housing Association we manage more than just homes; we look after public areas including highways, parks, canals, lakes, communal areas and neighbourhood facilities to make our community a place where people are proud to live.

Our comprehensive Team Gallions service is available 365 days a year to ensure that our neighbourhoods stay clean and attractive for residents and visitors. On a daily basis our dedicated team remove rubbish and graffiti, carry out deep cleaning of communal areas and maintain and landscape our parks and open spaces.

The team work closely with other colleagues to provide an extended project-based service too. Currently the team are delivering the following initiatives:

• Removal of untaxed vehicles from the streets
• Extension of recycling facilities for residents
• Rubbish clearance from canals and lakes
• Controlled algae growth within the boating lake
• Assisting elderly residents with garden improvements
• Offering work experience and job training opportunities for unemployed residents
• Removal of larger unwanted items from properties is available on request
