Our repairs and maintenance service

Gallions Housing Association is committed to helping you enjoy your home. We offer a customer focused repairs service and run a comprehensive home improvement programme to make sure that our tenants benefit from high quality housing.

We work with residents to make sure that our properties meet our quality standards and are well looked after. Gallions Housing Association is responsible for outside and communal facilities as well as most of the fixtures and fittings we have provided. Our repair guidelines show where we will take the lead in repairs and maintenance of properties and the timescales involved.

As a responsible social landlord we insist that all gas appliances, fittings and flues that we own and residents use are serviced annually to ensure that they remain safe and cost-effective to use. Our gas safety checks take approximately half an hour and are carried out by a professional contractor. Residents should contact our asset management department on 0800 83 84 81 to schedule a boiler safety check if one has not been carried out in the last year.

We also advise our residents to take out contents insurance to cover valuable possessions in the event of damage, destruction or loss.
