Paying your rent
New - pay your rent online!
We use your rent payments to help us look after your home and improve your neighbourhood. When you move in to your new home you will sign a tenancy agreement, which tells you how much rent you have to pay. Every year we will review your rent; if we decide to change your payments we will write to you to let you know.
Your rent must be paid weekly in advance, if you wish to pay monthly or fortnightly you must contact us to make sure that the payments you are making are correct and are being made at the right time. There are lots of different and easy ways to pay your rent. We can accept payment by:
Direct Debit
If you have a bank or building society account, direct debit is a simple way to pay your rent. On the 1st, 15th or 30th of each month (your choice) we ask your bank for your payment. If any changes to the date or the amount need to be made we will let you know well in advance and automatically make these changes for you. You can also set up a weekly direct debit stating the specific day of each week that you would like your payments to leave your bank account.
To set up direct debit payments please call the Credit Control Team on 0800 83 84 81 with your bank details. You can also obtain a copy of the direct debit form by e-mailing: customercontact@gallionsha.co.uk, collecting a form from our office or asking us to post one to you.
Standing Order
To pay your rent directly from your bank account on a day of your choice you should set up a standing order. To obtain a copy of the standing order form please e-mail customercontact@gallionsha.co.uk, collect a form from our office or asking us to post one to you.
